Let's just say that Nassau wasn't our favorite port of call, m'kay? A few things marred the experience just a bit. Keeping in mind that it was still a decent day of vacation, it just didn't compare with the previous ports we'd visited.
First, the tour bordered on being a major cluster ****. We were marched back and forth, the tour "organizer" barking out commands to stay single-file (and since when did tourists follow instructions in the first place?!), then we had the Tourist From Hell who just didn't like how things were going, she couldn't sit where she wanted on the tour bus, blah blah blah. Well, she basically did a Three Mile Island and made an obvious ass of herself in front of the entire group. I stopped just short of yelling from the back "maybe you should just get off the bus, eh?" but figured this wouldn't exactly defuse the situation. 
The other issue I had was with the vendors. Now, I understand that they're reliant on our business but a quick tip to some of those bozos. "No" means "no"! It does not mean, "sure, be a little more pushy and maybe I'll change my mind and buy this useless piece of crap you're trying to push off on me". No, I didn't need a straw hat, I had no place to pack the straw hat, you wouldn't get me to wear this straw hat even at gunpoint. Get a clue. The end result? I spent nothing in Nassau. Not that there was anything which I'd want in the first place. Scratch that place from consideration as a future place of interest for both of us.
The tour was decent enough. We liked Fort Fincastle and had a good time at Ardastra Gardens, especially the Flamingo show which takes place thrice daily. But you could have skipped this port and we wouldn't have missed it. Nassau rating: 3
