Contrasting yesterday's near perfect visibility, clouds have moved in this morning and mostly obscured the view of Molokai. The usual breakfast, walking, tanning, napping and cleaning up were followed by a visit to Bubba Gump Shrimp Company for dinner.

Our server, Dan, was very nice and talkative. We chatted about surfing, surfing lessons (which I know as much about as, say, brain surgery ), and a few other topics relating to tourism. Patty had the shrimp stuffed with crab meat and was disappointed. I started with the Caesar Salad (very good), followed by the New York Strip with mashed potatoes, which was excellent. $60 including the tip, which is average for a meal of this type on Maui. The smell of rain was in the air as we left the restaurant; indeed, there were clouds piling up on the West Maui Mountains. We toured Barnes & Noble before returning to the hotel.
