When we were contemplating dates for the "big" part of our move, Thursday the 11th was our first choice, and we were happy it worked out the way it did. Because today being our second choice turned out to be the first major snow event in the 2010-11 winter season. This would have seriously sucked had Lakeside Transfer tried to move our furniture today!
Most everything is unpacked now. Getting used to having this much space is a bit of a problem, yet a very nice problem to have. I have to remind myself, each time I climb the stairs, what my destination is so I know whether to turn left or right at the top of the stairway. Eventually it would become automatic--so far, it's not.
Tonight is our night out--after a great dinner at Blackwoods in Proctor, we took in the UMD-Michigan Tech game at the DECC, watching the Bulldogs win by a 4-2 score.
New washer/dryer set up and ready to go
The movers beat the first snowstorm of the year by just 48 hours!
