State Park #9--Ft. Snelling State Park

During a weekend trip to the Twin Cities to celebrate my friend's son's high school graduation, Patty and I decided to check out Ft. Snelling State Park. This was the first state park in the Metro we visited and, on a quiet Sunday morning, found a trail or two worth hiking. The trail we chose was easy, flat and took us to a picnic and beach area alongside Snelling Lake.
