A major rain storm in June 2012 resulted in not-quite-paved Kirkus Street in Proctor looking like this!

The storm washed out Highway 2 between Duluth and Proctor as Kingsbury Creek ran over its banks

Likewise, the St. Louis River caused flooding in Scanlon--here it is raging as it passes under the Munger Trail bridge

Here is the view upstream from the bridge

Closed to biking! A hillside collapsed, depositing tons of trees and debris across the Munger Trail near the Buffalo House

And more damage west of the Buffalo House
