The question came up about 25 years ago--who has had the most success in Minnesota high school hockey history? How would one judge that? By most titles? Most state appearances? Is this something which could be quantified?
I developed a rating system which takes into account each team's end result in each season. It takes into account a) Which class a team played in that season and b) How far did they progress? Section finals? Section quarterfinals? State semi-finals? And etc. It then created a "point value" which was applied to that team/season. The tables attached to this web page show the resulting totals for each team.

Note: These tables only encompass what teams have accomplished from the 1944-45 season, and only includes what teams have done under the umbrella of the Minnesota State High School League. In other words, teams' accomplishments in the Private Tourneys prior to the 1974-75 season are not taken into account.
